The longtime Bone Thugs-N-Harmony member, and happily married man, has been named in a paternity suit. A woman says that he’s the father of an eighteen month old. She initially filed a claim back in October and followed up on the suit this week. Layzie has not responded, and since the filing was far longer than the required 30 day response time, the court could conceivably declare him the father of the child even without a paternity test. According to TMZ, the court could also charge interest on all unpaid child support installments.

VIBE Magazine Sold To SpinMedia

According to the New York Times, Spin Media acquired the rights all Vibe Media’s properties—including Vibe.com, VibeVixen.com and Vibe magazine for an undisclosed amount. “It’s really exciting to add this to SpinMedia’s collection of music properties and bring more digital DNA to the team and see what they can do,â€� said SpinMedia’s chief executive, Steve Hansen. SpinMedia was formerly Buzz Media until acquired SPIN magazine in 2012. After the acquisition, half of SPIN’s staff was laid off and the print publication was discontinued. VIBE has been a physical publication since 1992, but shutdown briefly in 2009 before it was purchased by private equity fund InterMedia Partners, LP with help from Magic Johnson and Ron Burkle. By all indications, Hansen will likely shut down VIBE’s physical publication by the end of this year. “We’re still trying to find a print model that makes economic sense in the digital age,” he says.

The Florida-based Total Access Talent claims that it was hired by Rick Ross Touring to book and organize several dates in the Sunshine State in November of 2012. According to the company, it was never paid its 10% commission. According to TMZ, Total Access has been booking Ross’s gigs since 2004. They have filed a lawsuit—but acknowledge that their last agreement for arranging this tour was verbal. Total Access says Ross owes at least $171,000 in commissions.

The Oakland native’s deal is worth $750,000, and she explained the particulars of the signing in an interview with LA Weekly. “It’s an independent deal. I don’t really know how to explain it, it’s independent as far as working with each other. It’s for three years of music and sh*t, but I’m ready to just keep going with them,â€� V-Nasty revealed. “Of course, we’re gonna get more artists and sh*t. It’s big. It’s not no regular Warner Bros., but I feel I’m in a better position. More freedom.â€� She also made it clear that she’s done with Kreayshawn’s White Girl Mob. “People just have their differences in life.
